North Carolina home shooting leaves three dead

A shootout killed three people and wounded four others at a party held at a North Carolina residence in the United States. According to the newspaper The Hill, the event took place shortly after midnight.

The Wilmington Police Department said it was investigating the case and further reported that “the remaining four victims are being treated at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center”,

Police are still notifying the victims’ relatives and have confirmed to The Hill that they currently have no suspects.

“Our hearts are with everyone affected by this senseless violence, and we ask that anyone with information about this incident comes forward so that we can find justice,” wrote the department on social media.

The shooting in the state adds to others that happened in the country in the last few days. The death of a child was recorded in California this week during a shootout. In addition, a supermarket in Colorado has killed at least ten people.

President Joe Biden called for the tightening of gun control laws, as well as “immediate approval” of two bills that are endorsed by the Chamber of Deputies and amending the background check laws.
