The suspicion is that an explosive device may be inside an airplane that left earlier in Warsaw’s international airport in Poland.

The aircraft takes 30 people on board, including crew and passengers.

Swedish authorities say they work with the support of the bomb squad to ensure that all passengers are safely exited.

The head of the Maritime and Aircraft Rescue Center, Anders Lännholm, said in an interview with the newspaper “Aftonbladet” that a complaint was made to the airline shortly after the plane took off.

According to him, the crew decided to continue their journey and land in Landvetter.

“We left helicopters on standby in the city of Kristianstad, and when the aircraft approached Swedish territory, they flew towards Gothenburg. The military was also involved in this action,” said Lännholm.
