AstraZeneca: Greece orders autopsy of woman who died after being vaccinated – International


The Greek Ministry of Health ordered the autpsia of a 63-year-old woman who died after receiving a dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19. The product that is the target of suspicion after serious cases of blood clot formation, ministerial sources said on Wednesday (03/31). The autopsy aims to establish whether there is a relationship between death and vaccination, according to the same source. Vaccinated on Tuesday afternoon in Ilion, Athens suburb, the woman was found unconscious twenty minutes later on the bench of a nearby park, according to the local press.

She was taken to a clinic, which proved her death.

According to some communication vehicles, the woman had diabetes and other chronic diseases.

The AstraZeneca vaccine has been restricted in some countries. Greece has never suspended its use, but authorizes its administration only to those under 65 years of age.

Almost all cases of thrombosis occur in women young or middle aged.

Sweden, Finland, Iceland, France and Canada have suspended vaccination with this immunizer in the older age groups young.
