From Paraná Portal:
The Government of Chile announced on Monday (5) new measures to restrict the circulation of people and, consequently, contain the spread of the coronavirus in the country. Among them, the closing of borders stands out, both for leaving and for entering Chile, during the month of April.
The South American country had already shielded its borders between March and November last year.
Chile also adopted a national curfew, with circulation restrictions between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am.
In the case of departures from the country, the travel of Chileans and non-resident foreigners outside the country will be restricted throughout the month. In accordance with exceptional cases – indicated as essential for the country, essential for health, or departures without expectations of return – a permit will be established.
