Jordan’s Noor defends his son after he was accused of conspiracy

This weekend the BBC released a video recorded by the prince Hamzah bin Hussein, brother of the king of Jordan, in which he reveals that he is under house arrest. In the recording, the 41-year-old prince explains that the country’s Armed Forces Chief of Staff went to his home and informed him that he could not leave the place. “He informed me that I was not allowed to go out, communicate with other people or meet, because in the meetings I attended or in the social networks related to the visits I made, there were criticisms of the Government or the king”, Explain.

After the news was released, Hamzah’s mother, Jordan Noor left a message on your Twitter account, classifying it as “Wicked slander” the accusations that the child is being targeted and that they have led to him being placed under house arrest.

“Praying that truth and justice prevail for all the innocent victims of this wicked slander. May God bless you and keep you safe ”, wrote the fourth and last woman the king Hussein, who died in 1999.

It should be remembered that Prince Hamzah bin Hussein is half brother of the current monarch, the king Abdullah II, 59, who is the result of the previous monarch’s second marriage to Muna from Jordan.

Upon ascending the throne, Abdullah II fulfilled one of his father’s last wishes, who asked that Hamzah be appointed as Crown Prince. However, five years later, in 2004, he withdrew that title, later handing it over to his firstborn, the prince Hussein, the eldest of the four sons of the monarch and Queen Rania.
