LaMarcus Aldridge debuted for the Brooklyn franchise with 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists, but Jeff Green was the figure of the evening with 21 points, eight assists and two assists.
On the Hornets side, Devonte Graham and Gordon Hayqard were the most enlightened, with 13 points.
In Miami, Steph Curry put on another real show, but still not enough to prevent the Golden State Warriors from defeating the Heat by 116-109.
The 33-year-old was the best in the field, with 36 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. In the Miami team, the tireless Jimmy Butler shone with 22 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
