President Jair Bolsonaro and Councilman Carlos Bolsonaro (Republicans-RJ) published on June 1 a video of June 2020 to try to convince their followers that Brazil is not experiencing a dramatic scenario in the midst of the worst moment of the Covid- pandemic. 19.

At no time did the duo contextualize the video, nor inform the date on which it was originally published. This is an excerpt carefully taken from the June 10, 2020 edition of Newspaper and republished this Thursday by Carlos Bolsonaro on his YouTube channel.

The video was also shared by Jair Bolsonaro on his Telegram channel. In the recording, the Band newscast calculates, in addition to the absolute data, the incidence of cases and deaths by Covid-19 per million inhabitants – which, in the Bolsonarist argument, would make the impact of the pandemic in Brazil relative.
