The assault was recorded by a security camera on the street of the NGO and shows the moment the suspect throws the animal. According to representatives, the dog had a telephone cord being used as a collar, which curled up on a branch of the land and almost hanged him. (See the video).
Also according to UIPA, officials managed to rescue him thanks to the animal’s crying, since the land on which he was thrown is an attachment little used by the institution.
According to Fernanda Nery, representative of UIPA, the animal was found with many injuries and poor health. He went to a veterinary clinic in the late afternoon, where he will receive treatment.
The organization also said it expected the population to help identify the suspect. The police are investigating the case.
