You USA released a video on Wednesday, 31, showing two children being thrown over a wall on the border with the Mexico. According to local authorities, these are two girls from the Ecuador three and five years old who were brought to the scene by smugglers. The girls were not injured, but they were in a state of shock and so they were referred to a hospital for medical care. Now, they are in the care of the American government. Meanwhile, the United States is working in partnership with Mexico to find the people who launched the girls from a height of four meters.
The government of Joe Biden reversed the policy of rejecting unaccompanied children at the border, choosing to place them in the care of families who accept to receive them in the United States. Since then, there has been an increase in the influx of immigrants, including hundreds of unaccompanied children who are temporarily placed in detention centers. Recently, images of children huddled in makeshift classrooms in Texas were released. According to deputy Henry Cuellar, who photographed the scene, 400 minors were being held in a tent with a capacity for 260 people.
