RAF’s C-17 demonstrates its ability to take off quickly at a UK airport – AEROFLAP

A video posted by flugsnug shows a Royal Air Force (RAF) C-17 Globemaster III, belonging to 99 Squadron, operating at Birmingham Airport, United Kingdom.

However, what catches the eye in the video is the takeoff part, the American-made military carrier made a quick takeoff, thus showing one of the aircraft’s tactical characteristics.

Among its main features are the logistical transport of cargo, soldiers and parachutists, transport of vehicles, such as jeeps and tanks, as well as helicopters. The maximum load capacity is 27.216Kg.

The plane can operate on unpaved runways, something that has already happened in the Middle East, on a mission in Iraq and Afghanistan.
