Spain received and won the Kosovo national team this Wednesday, 3-1, in a game scored by two great goals, in the third round of group B of the European qualification for the World Cup 2022.
With Pedro Porro on the bench, the Spanish team took the lead in the 34th minute, with a great volley from Dani Olmo. Shortly afterwards, in the 36th minute, Ferrán Torres increased the difference, with the 2-0.
In the second half, Halimi took advantage of the departure of goalkeeper Unai Simón from the area and, almost from midfield, signed a great goal that dictated 2-1 after 70 minutes of play.
Shortly after, Spain rested a little more on the scoreboard, with the final 3-1 appointed by Gerard Moreno.
In the same group, there was a draw between Greece and Georgia, with a ball. With Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos in the starting lineup, the Hellenic players took the lead towards the end of the game, in the 76th minute, on a Kakabadze own goal. However, the Georgians drew just after, in the 78th minute, by Kvaratskhelia.
With this result, Spain leads with seven points, followed by Sweden with six (less one game), Greece with two (less one game), Georgia with one and Kosovo has not yet scored (less one game).
