Operation Caracol da PC detains 65 people in a video bingo house in the Capital

More than 100 machines were found at the site

The Civil Police arrested 59 players and six

employees of a video bingo house, on Saturday night (3), on Avenida Jurucê, in Moema, in the southern region of the capital.

Teams from the 27th DP (Decap) were in due diligence within the scope of Operation Caracol, aimed at fighting games of chance, when they received a complaint that a video bingo was working at the address mentioned.

The agents went to the property, in the Moema neighborhood, and saw that it was, apparently, a shed, whose clandestine activity was at the back. About 103 slot machines were found, all connected. The police also seized several documents, with the records of employees and players, as well as the financial movements of the games, in addition to a CPU and R $ 220.

According to the investigations, the house staff took money from all the machines before the police entered. They also tried to camouflage themselves among the players, however without success.

Support from the Health Surveillance Agency was requested for the appropriate administrative measures. Those involved were taken to the police unit, where they were fined for gambling and infringement of preventive sanitary measures. Civil Police SP
