After winning Kevin Holland no UFC Las Vegas 22, the American challenged the Brazilian for a fight. Now, he ‘poked’ his possible rival again and, simulating drunkenness, even offered a bottle of wine, in case the miner accepted the fight.
“Two guys acting like drunk, nothing new. I’ll take the wine, when you (Paulo Borrachinha) subscribe, ”wrote the American on his account at ‘Twitter’.
Coming from a four-game winning streak, Derek Brunson consolidated itself among the best in the category by dominating Kevin Holland in the main fight of the UFC Las Vegas 22. Fourth in the ranking, the fighter has a cartel of 22 triumphs and seven setbacks in his career.
At 29, Paulo Borrachinha is looking for a recovery on Ultimate, after losing for the first time in the duel against his rival, Israel Adesanya. The Brazilian occupies second place and would face Robert Whittaker no UFC Las Vegas 24. However, he claimed a ‘strong flu’ and was removed from the card. Currently, the athlete has a cartel of 13 positive and one negative results.

After months of provocation between both sides, Paulo Borrachinha had the opportunity for the middleweight division title (up to 83.9 kg.), in September 2020, in UFC 253.
