Military policemen who trying to ban an agglomeration were met with stones by participants of a clandestine party that took place this Sunday night (4), in block 31 of Paranoá, in the Federal District. The group also threw a chair at the military (see video above). Three people were arrested.

The confusion happened around 10:30 pm. The policing team went to the house to verify an alleged disobedience to the GDF decree, which prohibits agglomerations and events from 10 pm to 5 am, when the curfew begins in the capital.
“Upon arriving at the site, the team encountered a lot of crowding and loud sound, people using alcohol and many children on the street. The team was met with stones and chairs,” the PM said in a note.

Because of the assaults, the military had to call for police reinforcement. In the video, one of the officers fired rubber bullets at residents. According to the corporation, “in the course of the occurrence it was necessary to use less than lethal means and differentiated use of force”.
One of the party participants was injured and had to be taken to the Paranoá Regional Hospital, where he received first aid.
The detainees, aged 33, 35 and 38, were taken to the 6th Police Station (Paranoá). They will be responsible for the crimes of bodily injury, non-compliance with sanitary measures, contempt and disobedience.

According to the Civil Police DF, as the sum of the penalties for crimes exceeds the amount that can be secured, the suspects remain imprisoned in the control and custody division until a court decision.
On March 9, the Secretary of Health declared a state of public calamity in the Federal District due to the increase in cases of Covid-19. In the most recent balance sheet of the grazing released on Sunday night (4), the capital registers 6,288 deaths from the disease and those infected total 349,775.
Despite the progress of the disease, according to the Secretariat for the Protection of the Urban Order of the Federal District (Legal DF), from March 8 to 31, 401 establishments were fined and 522 interdicted in the DF. Another 63 people were fined for not complying with the curfew.
This Monday (5), the occupancy rate in the Intensive Care Units (ICU) is 98% and 356 people were waiting for a place.
