Samsung is launching updates first than Google! Have you received it?

When it comes to Android smartphones, the first devices that normally receive updates from Google are the Pixel. This makes perfect sense because after all it is the search engine giant’s own smartphones. However, sometimes Samsung manages to make a joke and tricks Google itself in the updates. This is exactly what happened with the April security updates.

This update is already being made available for several Samsung devices, including smartphones and tablets. The funny thing is that it was faster than Google managed to do. I remember that this company will launch the update for Pixel smartphones on April 5th.

In addition to security fixes, the update improves portrait mode. But this is true for all sensors, whether it is the main, the telephoto or the ultra-wide-angle.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was the first to receive this update. This is still on March 31st.

But let’s look at the full list of equipment that received the update.

So we have the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21 +. Still within the same family the Galaxy S21 Ultra. However who also received was the Galaxy S20 FE, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S10 +. Still within the same range we have the Galaxy S10e. The Galaxy S9 + should also be entitled to the April update.

The same goes for the Galaxy A52, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Fold.

In the Note family we have four models Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+.

In addition to smartphones, we also have a tablet receiving the update. In this case it is the Galaxy Tab S6 with the Snapdragon 855.

There is still an issue about the update that we want to highlight. With the new update, the Galaxy S21 range can now use the “normal” camera to capture portrait photos. Meanwhile, the Samsung expert site, Sammobile, has already given its hand to this update but has not noticed anything very different.
