The new OnePlus smartphone unveiled on March 24 is making a huge splash in China. The OnePlus 9 sold 300 million yuan (something in the range of R $ 263 million) in just 10 seconds. The top of the line had more than 2 million units sold in its pre-sale.
In a post on the social network Weibo, the company celebrated the feat and said it managed to reach the mark at 10 am on Friday (2), in Beijing time.
OnePlus sold well before
Before 9, the brand had had scary numbers. In 2020 OnePlus 8 sold 100 million yuan in one minute. The number, however, was easily overcome this time.
The OnePlus 9 arrives with SoC Snapdragon 888, accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and fast charging capable of completing a charge in 30 minutes with wires, or 43 minutes without wires. According to the manufacturer, this is enough to “save” 500 hours a year in waiting time for a load.
The cell phone also has a flat screen with 1080p resolution and 6.7 inches with the technology called by the manufacturer “Fluid Display 2.0”, with a variable refresh rate from 1 Hz to 120 Hz, and energy consumption 50% lower than the previous generation.
The OnePlus 9 has three camera sensors at the rear, with a resolution of 50, 48 and 2 MP. The 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor is the highlight with 1 / 1.56 ″ size and f / 2.2 aperture
In the USA, the OnePlus 9 costs from US $ 729 (R $ 4,000) in the configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The model will still come out in Europe and India, in addition to China where it sold at record speed. There is no forecast for launch in Brazil.
