A year later, the Japanese company is ready to take a step forward with the Xperia 1 III, a smartphone that aspires to be recognized by the most incredible screen ever seen on a smartphone.
As the date approaches, more details about this terminal are revealed.
The screen numbers on the Xperia 1 III are impressive, but could it be possible?
The Xperia 1 III is a smartphone that, according to leaks of design information, will not apply major design changes. The terminal appears to maintain a design similar to that of its predecessor, perhaps the biggest difference is the presence of a periscopic chamber. However, it looks like there is a surprise with the screen. One of the highlights of the Xperia I is the technology used, because with OLED panels with 4K resolution and 21: 9 format, it was the most cinematic smartphone on the market. For this year, Sony will not only maintain the resolution, but also bet on a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The main concern with such a powerful display is the impact it can have on the battery. As in previous models, the screen does not always work in 4K resolution, it is more likely that 120 Hz is only available when in FullHD mode.
Although the data is very promising, until the terminal is available, we cannot be sure if the panel delivers what it promises, but given Sony’s history, expectations are very high. On April 14 we will end the doubts in the official presentation.
