Sony has announced an international event for next April 14, where it is expected to unveil a new smartphone. In all likelihood, that smartphone will be the Sony Xperia 1 III, whose specifications have just been revealed.
Sony is often conservative in the specifications of its smartphones, which in a way would explain its drop in popularity. Still, the Sony Xperia 1 III will have specifications equal to or better than any other high-end smartphone, starting with a Snapdragon 888, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
As you would expect on a Sony, the Xperia 1 III will feature a screen of the highest quality. Apparently, we will have an OLED HDR screen with 10 bits of color, brightness of 1300 nits and 120Hz refresh rate.
As for the cameras, we will have a 64M * camera, an ultra-wide 12MP camera and a third 12MP camera with a 60x zoom.
Finally, the Sony Xperia 1 III will feature a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging, which seems too optimistic for Sony. But, perhaps the Japanese brand has finally woken up. Will be?
However, the only images we have of the Sony Xperia 1 III are the renders from @OnLeaks and which show us a smartphone with flat sides as it is fashionable this year.
