Is LG really about to announce the closure of its Mobile division?

It is not a new subject, but it has now taken on new shapes. A few weeks ago rumors emerged that South Korean manufacturer LG was on the verge of shutting down its Mobile division, which has done a lot of damage to the company.

After several failed attempts to sell this division to other companies, the decision to permanently close that division should have already been made. It is that new information, not yet confirmed by the company, says that LG will announce to the world, on the 5th of April 2021, after the meeting of the board of directors, that the mobile division of the company, will close doors.

That information is being revealed by several media outlets in South Korea, but so far there has been no official word to confirm the same.

LG Mobile closes its doors on April 5?

I’m curious to know what LG has to say. Is it an announcement with a date for its closure, or an immediate closure? These are questions that we have not yet been able to answer.

What happens to the equipment the company has launched in recent months? Do they stop receiving updates, or will the software team remain active to support them?

There are many questions that still do not have an answer, but that the company should answer already next week.
