iPhone SE 2022 should arrive with small LCD screen and 5G support

The iPhone SE 2022 already had more details released this Thursday (1st). Apple’s future entry-level phone is expected to feature a 4.7-inch LCD screen and support for the 5G network – but not on all frequencies.

The information was released by Ross Young, panel analyst and founder of the DisplaySearch. He added that the frequencies of the fifth generation mobile network that will be compatible are only sub-6 GHz. That is, there will be no millimeter waves on the device.

As you can see in the publication above, the specialist in the supply chain of Apple screens also said that there would be a version of 6.1-inch display that will have a notch in the shape of a hole in the screen. However, it would not be launched until 2023.

Young has an accurate history of information about the Cupertino giant’s products. Among the successes in the analyst’s curriculum is the iPhone 12 Pro series without the expected 120 Hz ProMotion panel.

One of the expectations that remained in the air and would justify a future iPhone SE 2022 with a small screen, would be the arrival of an iPhone SE Plus. It is not the first time that speculation has arisen that the device would have a 5.5 or 6.1 inch screen and a smaller notch.

Unless it is a joke on April 1 that has not yet clarified this information from Ross Young, Apple promises changes for the coming years in its line of more economical smartphones.
