Developer talks about possible return to PS Store

It looks like it’s in Sony’s hands now!

One of last year’s biggest negative surprises was the version of Cyberpunk 2077 for consoles, especially the PS4 version of the game, which in addition to several bugs also brought a lot of content that had not been finalized. After several complaints from players and, mainly, several refund requests, the game was removed from the PlayStation Store.

So far, with about 3 months having already passed since the event, the game still did not return, even having brought some updates and news that greatly improved your gameplay.

During an investor call (via Comic Book), CD Projekt Red’s business development SVP, Michal Nowakowski, talked about the possibility of Cyberpunk 2077 resold in the online store of PlayStation. He said:

“About this process – we have several updates; we launched a very large one yesterday, we also released several hotfixes and each one brings us closer to returning to the PSN store; however, the final decision is up to Sony – so let’s wait and see ”.

Several Cyberpunk 2077 NPCs did not finish correctly on PS4 and Xbox One at the time of launch.

Cyberpunk 2077 can still be played on PS4 e PS5 through physical media. The decision to remove the game from PlayStation Store it was a very surprising and unprecedented decision by the Sony, who after the various requests for refunds of the game made the decision with CD Projekt Red.
