The announcement was made by Krafton herself, who revealed her intention to end support for PUBG Lite on PC on April 29. After this date, May 29 will mark the definitive disappearance of the popular game.

Although it is a more limited version of PUBG, it continues to present itself as the version of choice for millions of players. In PUBG Lite, the difficulty level is more accessible and also allows you to run smoothly on less powerful computers, making it accessible to many more players.

The reasons for this decision were not revealed, but the decision to remove the virtual currency from the game in November had already left indications that something was not right.

PUBG Lite for smartphones will continue to function normally

Through an official communication on their website, they thanked the constant support of PUBG Lite fans. Unfortunately, they were forced to decide to end the PC service, thus bringing the story of PUBG Lite to an end.

However, no reference was made to the mobile version of PUBG Lite. Therefore, it appears that on both Android and iOS, PUBG Lite will remain available without any changes.

Most likely, the adhesion in the mobile version is substantially higher than in the PC, thus leading them to choose to keep only one version active.
