Xiaomi this week announced the launch of the Mi Smart Band 6, the brand’s new fitness bracelet. The device has new functions such as 30 types of training, oximeter and sleep tracking. The screen was still 50% larger than its predecessor.

In China, sales will start this Friday (2). The price is estimated at 45 euros (about R $ 300) and there is still no forecast for launch in Brazil.

When compared to the Mi Band 5, the product’s previous model, the new bracelet does not present as many changes in relation to the design. The device is available in six colors and provides 14 days of battery life, which increases to 19 days when low battery mode is enabled. Charging is magnetic and the Mi Smart Band 6 has water resistance of up to 50 meters.

Get to know the news below:

  • Larger screen: the Mi Smart Band 6’s display is 1.56 inches, approximately 50% more screen space than its predecessor. The idea is to provide easy visualization for those who need to quickly access the accessory during a commute or training. It will also be possible to personalize the display with banners on more than 60 available themes.
  • Training gallery: there are 30 “fun and challenging” exercise options, according to Xiaomi. The modalities include stretching, HIIT, gymnastics, zumba and street dancing, among others.
  • Health monitoring: the news also features features such as a pulse oximeter (SpO23), “accurate” heart rate assessment and a sleep tracking function, which monitors naps, sleep cycles and breathing quality during periods. Stress monitoring, women’s health and deep breathing guidance are also integrated.

In the disclosure statement, Xiaomi informs that the tracking data “should not be used or relied on for medical purposes” but only for “personal reference”.
