Samsung launched on Wednesday, 7, the new smartphones of the Galaxy A line in Brazil. The models A32, A52, A52 5G e A72 are the representatives, for 2021, of the intermediary cell phones of the company, and were announced globally between March and February.
The appliances bring design renovations and also in the specifications. Among the main highlights of the line are the quad camera at the rear, almost borderless screens with Full HD + resolution and long battery life. There are also new colors: the phones are available in black, violet, blue and white – except for the A52 5G, which will only be sold in black and violet colors.
Another point in common is that all models already come with Android 11, latest version of the system. On top of it is the One UI 3.1 interface, also the most up-to-date on Samsung devices.

Launch of the Galaxy A32 in Brazil
In the most basic model, the A32, the screen is 6.4 “and has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the camera set is 64 MP (main), 8 MP (wide-angle), and two sensors. 5 MP, a macro (for close-up shots) and a depth one, which serves only for background blur effects and does not take photos, and a 20 MP lens takes care of selfies in front.
The body brings changes in design in relation to the 2020 model. Although still made of plastic, the rear now houses the cameras in circular cutouts. In last year’s devices, these components were on an “island” with a black finish.
The battery of the A32 is 5,000 mAh, with a 15 W charge. Inside, the storage is 128 GB, with memory card slot, and there is 4 GB of RAM. The processor is a Mediatek Helio G80.
Galaxy A52 is launched in Brazil with 4G and 5G models
Right above the A32 comes the A52. The screen increases to 6.5 “and loses its notch in the form of a drop, with only a circular hole for the front camera. The version with support for fifth generation networks has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, while the 4G remains in the same 90 Hz of the A32 – still above the category average.
At the rear, the main camera gains optical stabilization, which avoids blurry photos, while the wide angle increases to 12 MP. Selfies too earn an increment, with 32 MP lens. The macro and depth sensors remain the same as the A32.
In the design, although the cameras are also grouped without the “cooktop” style of the predecessor A51, there is, unlike the A32, an elevation in the part where the lenses are. The body also gains IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
The battery of the A52 models is 4,500 mAh, smaller than the A32, but with a fast charge of 25 W. According to Samsung, half an hour in the socket is enough to restore 50% of the charge.
The A52 has 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM. In the 4G version, the processor is a Snapdragon 720G, from Qualcomm, while the 5G has a Snapdragon 750G.
Galaxy A72 is the largest among the models announced by Samsung
Today’s A72 closes, the biggest model among those launched. The screen is 6.7 “and 90 Hz, also with a hole for the front camera. The rest of the design remains identical to the A52.
The main, wide-angle and macro cameras are also the same, but the depth sensor gives way to an 8 MP with zoom 3x. The selfies lens also remains unchanged.
The battery of the A72 has 5,000 mAh, the same capacity as the A32. The charging speed, in turn, is the same 25 W of the A52 models.
Inside, there are 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM. The processor is the Snapdragon 720G, even from the A52 in the 4G version. The A72 does not support 5G networks.
