Open beta client can now be downloaded
The client for the open beta of The Resident Evil Re: Verse is now available for download, on PS4, Xbox One, and on PC through Steam, with the doors of the testing period opening on April 8 at 7 am in Portugal continental.

This period will only last until the 10th of April, so if you are interested, it is best to download the client now so as not to lose game time.

Resident Evil Re: Verse is an online multiplayer that puts players in the shoes of iconic characters from the Resident Evil series, such as Claire Redfield, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine, in battles against villains like Mr. X and Jack Baker.

Through 6-element Deathmatch combats, players will visit famous locations in the history of Resident Evil, such as the police station in Racoon City.

The game will be free and released alongside Resident Evil Village, on May 7, 2021.

Resident Evil Re: Verse marks the series’ 25th anniversary, serving as a celebration of the life of one of the most well-known and important horror franchises ever. The universe of Resident Evil continues to expand, with Infinite Darkness, a series debuting on Netflix, which already has names for the role of Leon and Claire. To this is added a reboot of the film, which arrives later this year.

For more news about Resident Evil, stay tuned to IGN Portugal, which during April will give special coverage to the latest game in the series, Village, with exclusive content.
