After much speculation, LG has finally confirmed that it will exit the smartphone market by June this year. In a note, LG said it should focus efforts on other markets, such as components for electric vehicles, connected devices, smart homes, robotics, artificial intelligence and solutions for companies.
The phones that have already been launched will continue to be sold until stocks are exhausted and, all who have branded handsets, continue to have support for the devices. However, the assistance period should vary according to each region.
