Vivo NEX: next model should feature waterfall screen and camera under the display

While ZTE remains the only brand to launch a smartphone with a camera under the screen, several other manufacturers are already preparing to invest in the technology when it is more mature and usable, since the novelty is very interesting, but a complete disaster for photos and videos.

As the manufacturer prepares the new generation with many improvements, more companies are expected to start presenting more devices with such novelty, including the Chinese vivo.

New rumors reveal details about the next generation of the vivo NEX line, revealing that the model must still bet on the cascade format for the screen – with extremely curved sides, going against the market which has adopted more straight screens – in addition to present the first sensor under the brand display.

Further information reveals that the smartphone would have three rear cameras, IP68 certified against water and dust, in addition to being launched in the second half of this year.

We still don’t know details about design or specifications, but the model is almost certain to look like the vivo NEX 3, replacing the retractable camera module with just one sensor below the screen. More details about the alleged live NEX 4 are expected to come up soon.
