Another week, more Samsung smartphones. Now, the most recent news is the Galaxy F02s it’s the Galaxy F12, entry-level cell phones with a focus on cost-effectiveness, mainly due to the battery. They are expected to launch in India later this month for the equivalent of up to R $ 920.

The Galaxy F02s is the simpler of the two new options. It has a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels), Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, up to 4 GB of RAM and storage of up to 64 GB. It has a 5,000 mAh battery, with a charger included in the box – at least the most basic models from Samsung did not remove the item, as is already the case in the intermediate and premium lines.

In the cameras, the F02s has a 13 MP main sensor, accompanied by a macro camera and a depth of field sensor, each with 2 MP. The front camera has 5 MP.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy F12 shares some features with the F02s. The screen has the same size and resolution, but the difference is that the refresh rate is 90 Hz, for more fluid images. In fact, it is great to see that Samsung is launching more entry-level phones with this specification.

The F12 also features an Exynos 850 processor, 4 GB RAM, up to 128 GB of internal storage and a 6,000 mAh battery. The rear cameras are composed of a main sensor of 48 MP, ultra-angular of 5 MP, macro of 2 MP and depth of field also with 2 MP. The front camera in the drop notch is 8 MP.

Pricing and availability

Both devices will be sold first in China by the end of April. The Galaxy F02s with 3 GB + 32 GB of storage will cost 8,999 rupees (R $ 690 in direct conversion, excluding taxes). The version with 4 GB RAM + 64 GB of space will cost 9,999 rupees (R $ 770). It will be available in Diamond Blue (blue), Diamond White (white) and Diamond Black (black).

The Galaxy F12, in turn, can be purchased for 10,999 rupees (R $ 850), in the version with 64 GB of internal space, and 11,999 rupees (R $ 935), for the 128 GB model. The colors are Sea Green (green), Celestial Black (black) and Sky Blue (blue).
