As we have already entered the fourth month of the year, things are starting to get lively, as usual, and big releases are getting closer and closer. April will offer interesting games, including a major PlayStation 5 exclusive that has caught the attention of many owners of the new Sony console.
Returnal, a game developed by Housemarque, is one of the highlights of this month. The PlayStation exclusive will arrive on April 30, promising to deliver an interesting experience that mixes elements of roguelike, psychological terror and third-person shooting. In Returnal, players will control Selene, a character who had to make a forced landing on an alien planet and now has to fight for her survival. On each occasion that Selene loses her life, the woman returns to continue her journey in this tense and visceral looping.
Returnal promises to deliver explosive combat, while the player must also be concerned with equipment management and the need to scour for alien technology to hone his skills.
Another April highlight is Oddworld: Soulstorm, a game that will continue the Mudokon journey called Abe. Despite being also a PC title, the new Oddworld will appeal to PlayStation players a lot because it is one of the free games for PS Plus subscribers in April.
Oddworld: Soulstorm will be available on Plus from the day of its release, April 6. After Abe discovers his boss Molluck’s plans and decides to save himself and others of his kind, Mudokon’s journey will continue in this new franchise title. The game promises to deliver a lot of action and several puzzles in 2.9D scenarios of cinematic scale.

Outriders is another game of prominence in April. Available from the first of the month, People Can Fly’s cooperative role-playing game will delight the green side of the force. Just like Oddworld: Soulstorm will arrive directly on Plus, Outriders arrived directly on the Xbox Game Pass, becoming available to subscribers of the service.
In Outriders, players can venture alone or in coop on the planet called Enoch, while various powers and abilities can be used against the various enemies that appear along the way.
