The launch of new Android phones in March changed the first places in the monthly report presented by the AnTuTu application, a ranking that shows users the smartphones with the best score in their benchmark tests.
Among the novelties since the top 10 released in February, there are three cellphones aimed at gamers. The application points out that the evaluations were made in the V8 version, which will soon be replaced by the V9.
Most powerful phones in AnTuTu
The most powerful model of the time is the Black Shark 4 Pro. Xiaomi’s top of the line for the players on duty leads with 765,579 points. The other models that complete the top 3 are the Oppo Find X3 Pro in second with 742,078 points; and third, the Red Magic 6 Pro, a gamer phone with up to 18 GB of RAM developed by the Chinese brand Nubia, which scored 741,100 points.
In the fourth position, the ROG Phone 5, the bet of Taiwanese Asus for those who prefer to play on the smartphone, reached 729,300 points. In fifth place, Vivo X60 Pro + scored 726,216 points.
Thereafter, the next placed are the iQOO 7 cell phones (725,478 points); Redmi K40 Pro (719,798 points); Xiaomi Mi 11 (710,581 points). The last two places are with two Meizu models: the Meizu 18 (710,459 points) and the Meizu 18 Pro (698,611 points).
Another interesting point is that all the models on the list have the same chipset: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, which shows the dominance of the North American chip developer in the high-end mobile phone segment.
Well-known names such as the Huawei Mate 40 Pro with Kirin 9000 processing chip, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, the flagship of South Korea’s Samsung for 2021, were left out of the list.
In the intermediary cell phone segment, the ranking is almost the same as that presented by the application in February. With that, the most powerful model in the class remains the Redmi 10X 5G, which leads with 399,923 points.
Interestingly, from the fourth placed onwards, all models have Kirin 985 or 820 chipsets, developed by Huawei, while the first three have MediaTek’s SoC Dimensity 820, currently considered the largest supplier of chips for mobile phones. There is no mention of Snapdragon processors here, which shows that Qualcomm’s competitors have captured an important share in this segment of the smartphone market.
The next devices on the list are, respectively:
- Redmi 10X Pro 5G (396.906 pontos)
- Vivo S7t (393,918 points)
- Huawei nova 7 Pro (390,828 points)
- Huawei nova 7 (390,575 points)
- Huawei nova 8 Pro (388,995 points)
- Honor 30 (386,045 points)
