In the last few months we have seen a phenomenon of scarcity in the graphics card market, with prices rising dramatically. Despite this rise in prices, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 is already present in the list of GPUs most used by Steam users.

The video game distribution platform addressed fans with a new survey that found that the RTX 3070 has indeed been slowly reaching the hands of fans.
According to the list we can check above, GeForce RTX 3070 currently occupies the 17th position in the ranking of the most used graphics cards on Steam, representing 1.29% of users. Incidentally, Nvidia’s graphics is the GPU that registers a greater growth of its presence in the market.
In addition to the RTX 3070, other Nvidia GeForce 30 series are gaining ground
Having been announced in September 2020, the new graphics in the GeForce 30 series bring several interesting proposals, but whose scarcity in the market has prevented video game fans from taking advantage of their capabilities.
Still, some lucky ones will have access to the new graphics cards, as was the case with the aforementioned RTX 3070. But in addition to this, the Steam survey allows us to verify that the GeForce RTX 3080, RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3090 also give an air of grace, representing, respectively, market shares of 0.87%, 0.39 % and 0.34%.
These numbers are quite positive (considering the context), especially when we find that the new AMD Radeon RX 6000 cannot hold any place on Steam’s list of 95 most used graphics.
As for the future of the new graphics processor models, the GeForce RTX 3070 is expected to continue to make a splash, especially when prices return to normal. The entry of Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 in the top 20 of Steam should also be eminent, as this appears as the option of best value for the price, guaranteeing top performance in Full HD 1080p resolutions and being prepared to take advantage of the raytracing.
