Paulinho was a big contractor in the winter market, the most expensive ever in the history of sportinguista football (€ 16 M), but the necessary phase of adaptation to the new teammates and an injury to his left thigh tendon, contracted on February 19, prevented -not yet to show the killing instinct that is recognized to him.

Well, on the return of Sporting to the championship, the striker should be Rúben Amorim’s first choice when traveling to Moreira de Cónegos, in a traditionally difficult duel for Sporting, which seeks against Moreirense to keep the winning streak in the League and, consequently, continue keeping rivals within respectful punctual distance and prolonging their unbeaten run in the competition – 2nd place, FC Porto, are ten points behind.

Paulinho’s return in full strength (and goals …) can be an important asset for this final part of the season of the lions and for the conquest of the desired title.
