FURIA got into the spirit of the 1st of April and announced striker Ribamar, former Vasco player, as a new reinforcement of the organization famous for its performance in CS: GO. The joke was made by org on social networks, taking advantage of the fact that today is “April Fool’s Day”. The “announcement” of the center forward, who currently defends América-MG, soon fell in favor with the fans. Even so, it is worth noting that FURIA is the Brazilian org that has invested the most in modalities that escape eSports. Cases abound (see more below), like UFC fighter Livinha Souza, and Krikor Mekhitarian, two-time chess champion. Just this afternoon, as an example of this expansion of the brand’s own horizons, FURIA made a real announcement: rapper Predella, founder of the Costa Gold group.

The game went viral, but soon the organization tried to explain that it was April 1st.
Later, the organization announced that it would make a “real” announcement. That was when FURIA revealed the hiring of rapper Pradella, who reinforces the org streamers team and extends the Panthers’ reach now also to the music field.
FURIA has stood out for expanding the brand beyond eSports by bringing athletes into the organization as streamers. The first step was to invest in Poker, since CEO André Akkari is a well-known figure in the field. Thus, Lauriê Tournier and Rafael Moraes were announced in November last year.
Then, in December, the next investment was in chess with the arrival of Krikor Mekhitarian, who is two-time Brazilian champion for the modality and has in his curriculum the title of Grand Master – the most important of the modality, won with the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in 2019.
FURIA also entered the fight world and announced Livinha Souza, from UFC, as a new athlete and streamer, in the last month of February.

In the following month, it was the turn of motorsport to join the organization with the announcement of the brothers Enzo and Pietro Fittipaldi as streamers. The duo has a great relationship with fans of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, having public support from figures like Alexandre “Gaules” and Alessandro “Apoka”.
