Guerrero’s last goal for Corinthians was six years ago; center forward scored hat-trick

One of the players who scored the most goals for Corinthians this century, Guerrero scored his last goals for the Parque São Jorge club exactly six years ago. In the duel against the Danube, by the way, the Peruvian scored a hat-trick, his only one with the white shirt, in a 4-0 victory at the Neo Química Arena.

Living a great phase in the second half of 2014 and the first of 2015, the then shirt 9 scored the second, third and fourth goals of that duel, one of the great presentations of Tite’s team that season.

Interestingly, the clash was three months before Guerrero’s official farewell to the team, but a combination of dengue, summoning to the Copa America and early eliminations at Paulista and Libertadores meant that he no longer scored for the team.

With 54 goals, he is second only to Dentinho among the top scorers of the century of Timão. Currently at Internacional, the player left the club through the back door and was one of the most booed athletes in the Arena when he returned to the Corinthians stadium.
