The first is that of Luis Mandaca, a midfielder who was part of the under-20 team and has been training for a few weeks with the main squad. The termination of the old contract was published at the IDB on March 22 and, so far, the new contract has not been registered on the same CBF tool.. The player, even with the termination, follows the training routine in the CT.
Wallace Lucas is the other case. The center forward, who belongs to the under-23 team of Corinthians, was not linked to the club on Wednesday, the 31st. The contract was terminated and removed from the FPF website.
Although, the player is still under Corinthians’ medical care, recovering from a serious injury (rupture of the cruciate ligament in his right knee). The fact occurred in late October 2020, right on his debut, and it will still take a while to get ready to play. The trend is that the new link, not yet registered, will be until the end of the season.
The report by My Timon contacted the club to understand why the two new contracts were not registered. The information from the board, through the communication department, was that there was a delay in collecting the signatures of those involved.
The club also guaranteed that it did not receive a new punishment from FIFA for non-payment of international transfers, as with the purchase of Danilo Avelar from Torino-ITA. At the time, the club was silent and the matter came up only when the debt had already been paid and the punishment was undone.
