The Utah Jazz play this Wednesday in Memphis, with the Grizzlies, but the trip started unlucky.
The plane carrying the team had to return to Salt Lake City, the starting point, after being hit by a flock of birds.
According to the NBA, everything happened shortly after the aircraft took off and the incident did not cause injuries.
The team disembarked and the plane was taken in for repair. Later, the Jazz left for Memphis on another aircraft.
On social media, several players made posts with emojis, showing happiness and gratitude, although none mentioned the incident directly.
The team later announced that Donovan Mitchell would not be attending the game for personal reasons.
