Danilo and Alex follow Corinthians training day at CT Joaquim Grava

One of Corinthians’ proposals in the current season is to make more use of their base players, in addition to reformulating the Under-23s and turning the category into a final stage before the professional. On Wednesday, the club took another important step towards that.

The afternoon training of Vagner Mancini’s squad at CT Joaquim Grava was attended by Danilo, current Under-23 coach, and Alex, who is largely responsible for integrating the youth teams – among them and with the professional.

The multi-champions with the black-and-white cloak followed all the activity of the black-and-white team, which continues to prepare for a possible return of the matches of the Paulista Championship. The day was one of technical and tactical work, with the aim of fine-tuning the conclusion of the plays, both of the defensive and offensive systems.

Danilo, it should be noted, can count on some “reinforcements” from the professional team throughout the season. In 2020, names like Roni and Raul Gustavo came to “descend” to play with the category – Davó, in turn, refused to play for the low team and ended up being removed by Vagner Mancini. Now, he is at Guarani.
