Time to forget for Phillipe Coutinho, who will be operated on Monday for the third time on his left knee since January.

After having recently undergone intervention in Qatar, it was decided to have a new operation, this time in Brazil, led by the selection surgeon, Rodrigo Lasmar, who will extract the external meniscus from his left knee.

According to the Brazilian Globe Sports, arthroscopy of the left knee will be performed in Belo Horizonte. The player was in Qatar 10 days ago for an appointment and then traveled to Brazil to continue the treatment, but since then another problem has been detected, a cyst.

The Spanish newspaper AS says that the Brazilian may be recovered within six to seven weeks, so participation in the Copa America is not ruled out – this year in June and July.

Coutinho has not played since December 29, when he was injured against Eibar.
