Barcelona now depends on you and is already a ‘favorite’ to be LaLiga champion; see probabilities

The calculations are from FiveThirtyEight, partner site of ESPN which mathematically projects the chances of winning the Spanish Championship, and several other tournaments, according to a series of algorithms.

According to projections, Barcelona reached a 64% chance of winning the competition, while the current leader, the Atlético de Madrid, only have 19%.

Even in 3rd place, those led by Ronaldo Koeman appear as favorites for the title. This is because, even without playing yet in the round, the Catalans saw Atlético de Madrid, the current leader, be defeated away from home to Sevilla by 1 to 0.

Thus, Barça, who still plays in the round, should they win the Real Valladolid, currently 16th in the Camp Nou, will pass the Real Madrid, in 2nd, and will be only one point away from the Colchoneros.

With nine rounds to go, LaLiga, Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid face each other in the 35th round. Thus, if the difference of one point is maintained until then, the culé club will depend on you alone to take the trophy.
