After Neymar’s Expulsion and Defeat, President Accompanies Training

Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser al-Khelaifi visited the club’s training center and closely followed the training of the main team. Last Saturday, PSG lost 1-0 to Lille, in the French Championship, and Neymar was expelled from the game.

The Brazilian was criticized by the international press because of another expulsion with the shirt of the Parisian team. Today, Neymar trained normally alongside his teammates.

The expulsion

Neymar’s first yellow came after he was irritated by an opponent’s scoring, put his hand on his rival’s face and ended up punished with the card.

At the end of the game, with the defeat practically defined, Neymar was irritated in a ball dispute, pushed Djaló off the field and received a red card in the 44th minute of the second half. The Lille player was also sent off in the move.

PSG now leave the French side behind and visit Bayern Munich next Wednesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals. Next Saturday, the Paris team will face Strasbourg, away from home, with the Frenchman.
