Space Jam: A New Legacy had its first full trailer released this Saturday (03). In addition to the sea of references, one of the highlights that was favored by the public was Lola Bunny which, with a new look, appears imitating the celebration of the player Dwyane Wade. Now, the Entertainment Weekly revealed that, in the original language, the character will have a voice from none other than Zendaya, actress of Euphoria and the films of Spider man.
Space Jam: A New Legacy will hit theaters 25 years after the feature starring Michael Jordan. In the new film, the Looney Tunes will face a new threat on the courts, this time with the help of LeBron James, considered one of the best basketball players today.
In addition to James, Space Jam: A New Legacy will also feature Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson and WNBA players Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwimike and Chiney Ogwumike. More NBA and WNBA players are expected to be confirmed soon. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green will play LeBron’s wife in the feature.
The original feature starred Michael Jordan and featured athletes such as Patrick Ewing and Charles Barkley.
With direction Malcolm D Lee and script of Ryan Coogler (Black Panther) e Sev Ohanian, Space Jam 2 is scheduled for launch in July 2021.
