TV Brasil, an integral part of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), will start showing the soap opera “Os Dez Mandamentos”, by Record TV, in its new programming grid.

To acquire the broadcast rights for the two seasons of the soap opera, the state-owned company paid about R $ 3.2 million to the station of the bishop and founder of the Universal Church, Edir Macedo, who is close to the president. Jair Bolsonaro.

The information was published in the journalist Guilherme Amado’s column in Época magazine.

Capital Letter asked for an EBC position on the reported amount, but has not yet received a return.
