This Friday, Demi Lovato initiated its new musical era with the release of the confessional and intimate album “Dancing With The Devil: The Art of Starting Over”. The project has been praised by expert critics and fans are happy with the work. Despite the high expectations regarding the music collection, a track was more awaited by the fans: the singer’s partnership with Ariana Grande.

‘Met Him Last Night’ was written by the owner of ‘Positions’ especially for Lovato, who invited her into the partnership. Some rumors suggest that the feat. it could be Demi Lovato’s next single, winning a music video and a special promotion. The NME website classified the song as a “dark and atmospheric electro bop” in which the “he” in question is the “devil”. The Telegraph:

“A seductive duet with Ariana Grande in which the seductive title character is the Devil, who manages to recognize the dangers of high life and make fun of them at the same time. The great pleasure of Lovato’s album is that he is able to deal with serious issues without discarding any of the lightness, melody, agile rhythms and sugary hooks of his pop genre ”, said the British newspaper

The magazine ‘Vulture’ suggested that, like Rain On Me, the music of Demi and Ariana should win a Grammy: “it is an almost perfect vocal combination with Ari and Demi exchanging verses before coming together in harmony (…) The first collaboration between these two lyrical geniuses, “Met Him Last Night” is hot and even a little hellish. It is emotional and exciting, as Grande’s music tends to be, and, like Lil Nas X’s recent “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”, leaves Satan breathless ”.

The public also liked the partnership and jokes about a song about the “devil” being released on Good Friday were not lacking:
