O National Newspaper suffered a huge drop in audience this week. Commanded by Flávio Fachel and Mariana Gross during the long break of William Bonner and Renata Vasconcellos, the country’s main news program fell by at least 3.0 points in the Greater São Paulo average.
On the air from 8:30 pm to 9:04 pm, Jornal Nacional reached 27.0 average points, 29.3 peak points and 38% share (number of televisions on), compared to 10.6 for Record, 7.3 for SBT, 1 , 5 from Band and 0.3 from RedeTV !.
By way of comparison, on Tuesday last week, March 23, Jornal Nacional aired from 8:33 pm to 9:28 pm, and recorded 30.4 average points, 32.9 peak points and 41% share. One of the factors that harm the newspaper is the bad phase experienced by the 7 pm soap operas, currently occupied by Salve-se Quem Puder.
Shown earlier, SP2 with Alan Severiano ensured the lead with great numbers. On the air from 7:12 pm to 7:45 pm, the journalism shown to the public in São Paulo consolidated 24.0 points of average, 25.2 points of peak and 35% participation, compared to 9.4 for Record, 8.0 for SBT, , 9 from Band and 1.6 from RedeTV !.
From 12:00 pm to 1:03 pm, SP1 was the leader with more audience than Record and SBT combined. In all, the local news showed 13.2 points of average, 14.5 points of peak and 29% share, compared to 5.6 from SBT, 5.4 from Record, 2.3 from Band and 0.3 from RedeTV. !.
The only sports program in the program, Globo Esporte SP repeated the first place, but with less audience. From 13h03 to 13h25, the attraction gained 12.5 points of average, 14.1 points of peak and 26% share, compared to 8.3 for Record, 6.0 for SBT, 2.5 for Band and 0.1 for TV network!.
Throughout the day, Globo aired Bom Dia São Paulo (7.0), Bom Dia Brasil (9.3), Jornal Hoje (13.3), Jornal da Globo (9.0) and Hora 1 ( 4.0).
