The body of Evelyn Sakash, a scenery designer, was found buried in garbage on Wednesday (31). The professional, who already won an Emmy, spent about seven months missing.

According to the British website Daily Mail, Evelyn was considered an accumulator. According to authorities, the designer’s body was mummified and buried in the garbage of her kitchen. The last time Sakash had been seen alive was in September 2020.

Evelyn was 66 years old and died of natural causes after suffering from arteriosclerosis, an accumulation of fat in the arteries. Months before the body was found, her friends even made a kitty to pay for private investigators and arrive at her whereabouts. But the searches came to nothing.

Evelyn Sakash won an Emmy in 2003 for her work as a set designer on the children’s program “Between the Lions”. To the Daily Mail, people close to her said she had “fallen into decay” after her mother’s death in April 2020.
