“41 years without my father … it still hurts”

Fernando Mendes turned to his Instagram account to mark the day his father, Vitor Mendes, left.

The parent of the presenter of RTP1 died at the age of 42, victim of a heart attack, precisely 41 years ago.

Thus, and in a moving text, Fernando Mendes decided to remember his father. He shared, on his official page, a rare photo and in the caption he started by writing:

“41 years without my father. To those who were saying to me ‘let it be, Fernandinho, that it hurts less with time’, I tell you no, no sir. That still hurts as if I just received the news ”, lê-se.

Then, he left praise for the parent, emphasizing that the “fills” with pride to hear people talk about himself and left, in the end, a “message”:

“I’m glad you are sending news from you, dear daddy. That I feel good whenever they arrive ”, lê-se.
