Netflix Series Announces 4 Lineups

“Bridgerton” is reinforcing the cast of his second season a few days after announcing that Regé-Jean Page, the Duke of Hastings of the series, will not return for the second season. The information is from Variety.

Charithra Chandran (“Alex Rider”) Shelley Conn (“The Fantastic Chocolate Factory”), Calam Lynch (“Dunkirk”) and Rupert Young (“The Adventures of Merlin”) are the news announced today.

Chandran will play Edwina Sharma, the younger sister of the season 2 romantic protagonist, Kate (who will be played by Simone Ashley, from ‘Sex Education’). Even though she is young and naive, she knows what she wants out of life: a love match.

Conn will be Mary Sharma, the mother of Edwina and Kate. Involved in a scandal decades ago, she spent years outside England – returning with her daughters, she fears going through the trial of the British nobility again.

Lynch, for his part, is going to live Theo Sharpe, a humble employee of a publisher who is involved in social causes. Finally, Young will be Jack, a mysterious character who is not in the “Bridgerton” books and was created especially for the series.

Who was curious there?

But calm down that ‘Bridgerton’ still doesn’t have a date to return …
