In Brazil until 22h Friday (2), at least 24,191,196 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 were applied. The country has 211 million inhabitants according to the last census, conducted in 2019.

About the applications in the country, 75% refer to the first dose of the immunizing agent, 18,908,425 people, that is, only 8.93% of the country’s population. People who have already taken the second dose represent 2.49%, 5,282,771 people.

In São Paulo, the state most affected by Brazil by the Covid-19 pandemic so far, 4,725,649 people received the first dose of the vaccine and 1,585,649 are immunized.

So far, the state that vaccinated least was Acre. With 894,470 inhabitants, only 58,970 doses were applied, with a proportion of 5.26% applications for the 1st and 1.33% for the 2nd.

Not all states have released the information on the immunization campaign in its entirety, so the survey is preliminary and the actual number may be higher.
