Without receiving enough doses, Guarulhos is the 5th city in the ranking of vaccination against covid-19

The Government of São Paulo started to disclose this Thursday (1st) the percentage of vaccination in each municipality of São Paulo in relation to the local population. Guarulhos is in the fifth ranking position with a total of 113,243 doses applied. This is because, even though it is the second largest municipality in the state, the city received fewer doses of the immunizer than municipalities with a lower population.

In the first position appears the capital with 1,807,162 doses, followed by Campinas with 183,655, São Bernardo do Campo with 119,554 and Santo André with 118,791 doses.

The ranking is available on the Vaccinometer website of the Government of São Paulo (www.vacinaja.sp.gov.br/vacinometro), under the button “Vaccination Ranking”. The Vaccinometer is directly fed with information from Vacivida, an integrated digital platform to monitor the entire vaccination campaign against covid-19 in the State.

The digital tool, developed in a partnership between the state departments of Communication, Health, Regional Development and Prodesp, allows anyone to monitor in real time the number of vaccinated people across the state.
