The health professionals of Santa Casa de São Carlos will count on the presence and spiritual support of Father Robson Caramano, parish priest of São Nicolau de Flüe Parish and coordinator of the SOS Oração Project. This Wednesday (31), he held two moments of prayer at 7 am and 7 pm, when the teams’ shift changes take place in the hospital parking lot.

“The Diocese of São Carlos carries out hospital chaplaincy work with Santa Casa, that is, religious and spiritual assistance within the hospital. The chaplain responsible is Father Jonas Rafael, parish priest of Nossa Senhora de Fátima. With the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, we decided to strengthen this assistance. For that, I will be available to health professionals in the next two weeks, for other moments of prayer and welcome ”, explains Father Robson Caramano.

The nurse of the Infection Control Service Related to Health Care (SCIRAS) of Santa Casa, Vanessa Marmo, returned from maternity leave on Wednesday (31) and was surprised by the moment of prayer. “It was a blessed day and a moment that gave strength to everyone. A spiritual support that came to help us to have resilience and to motivate us in our mission to save lives ”, he comments.

The religious will remain in the hospital between the 5th and 8th of April and also between the 12th and 15th of April.
